Finding the right size for a dog strap harness is important for your dog's comfort. The strap harnesses are available in different sizes. This makes our strap harnesses suitable for dogs of all sizes, from small to large.
Use the instructions below to ensure that the strap harness fits perfectly and your dog:
- Always measure your dog from a standing position, on a stable surface.
- A harness sits lower on the neck than a collar. Therefore, measure the neck circumference lower than where the collar sits.
- When measuring chest size, it is important to measure the widest part, behind the front legs.
- When measuring the neck and chest size, place 2 fingers between the neck/chest and the measuring tape.
- Check the size chart on the product page to determine the right size.

What is the difference between a Ready to Walk strap harness and a handmade strap harness?
In our webshop, you will find two different types of dog strap harnesses: our Ready to Walk strap harnesses and our handmade strap harnesses.
- Our Ready to Walk dog strap harnesses are made from sturdy polypropylene webbing. The inside has a soft neoprene lining for extra comfort. The strap harnesses come with a light black plastic buckle as standard. The other hardware is made of metal. We have our Ready to Walk strap harnesses in stock and ship them within 1-2 working days.
- Our handmade dog strap harnesses are made entirely to order. They are made from 100% cotton with polypropylene webbing reinforcement on the inside. Our handmade strap harnesses are available in different widths and you can also choose the colour of the hardware: silver, gold, rose gold or black with silver.
The production of our handmade dog strap harnesses takes 4-6 working days. After this, your order will be shipped.
